Social Jam on Aging and Technology
The first in a series of Social Jams hosted by the Philips Aging Well Think Tank was carried out on 22nd-24th February 2012. The Jam was designed to gather insights into trends and thinking on ' How can technology support Aging Well?'
Think tank members Laurie Orlov and Rod Falcon challenged members of the Creating Healthy, Livable Cities LinkedIn group to debate the distinction between technologies for aging and for ' living well', They asked ' How can technology realize its potential and fully support aging well?'

The second in a series social jams will take place in Innovation in Health LinkedIn group on Wednesday April 11th to Friday April 13th. This time, the discussion will be focusing on how to re-negotiate healthcare systems to adapt new solutions. The Aging Well Think Tank member Dr. Leonard Marcus from Harvard School of Public Health and Ms. Pat Fard-Roegner, former CEO of American Academy of Nursing will lead the discussion.
